Alignment isn’t comfortable. It’s disruptive.
We love the idea of being “in alignment” with our purpose, our values, our next level.
But no one talks about what alignment actually feels like.
It doesn’t feel calm at first.
It doesn’t feel easy.
It doesn’t feel neat.
It feels like:
• Outgrowing people you thought you’d always walk with
• Questioning paths you worked hard to build
• Saying no where you used to say yes
• Feeling pulled forward while everything familiar tries to pull you back
Alignment shakes things loose.
Because you can’t step into who you’re becoming while gripping who you were.
In order to make room for what you need, you often have to let go of something you already have. And that part? That’s hard. Especially when it’s something you worked for, cared about, or thought would last.
If you’re trying to hold onto something that feels like it’s slipping away… maybe it has to.
Not because you failed.
Not because it didn’t matter.
But because it’s making space.
Growth disrupts routines.
Purpose disrupts comfort.
Clarity disrupts illusions.
And that disruption? That’s not failure.
That’s recalibration.
Most people turn back at this stage. They think:
“This is too uncomfortable. Something must be wrong.”
But often, discomfort is the sign you’re finally being honest with yourself.
Alignment isn’t about feeling good all the time.
It’s about feeling true — even when it stretches you.
If things feel uncertain, shifting, or a little scary right now…
you might not be off track.
You might be clearing space for what’s next.
Trust the Process!!
